Warhawk DS is a game for the Nintendo DS coded in 100% ARM assembler. Here comes a small update, to make the game even more enjoyable!

Warhawk DS is based on a much earlier game released on the C64 in 1986, and is more of a re-imagining than a remake. One thing that was intended to retain was the ‘old school’ feel to the game, and this is hopefully something has been achieved. The downside to keeping the feel is that those of you brought up on present day games may find this a little difficult? It is not an easy ride to clear the 16 levels, though a consession has been made for the modern-day gamer in the addition of continues.

The game has 16 normal levels and also upon completion, another 16 mental levels become available. It is worth finishing the mental levels for the true completion and credit sequence.

SwedishFish released his first Nintendo DS game to the public. It’s called “Stargrazer” and you’ve to shoot various objects and make them explode.

GameUP is a new utility for Nintendo DS that conclude the trilogy of Mik’s Up-Series homebrews (together with OsUp and SkinUP). This new program allows you to take ever your homebrew game archive up to date, giving the possibility to download all the best not-commercial games of the amateur scene. This homebrew works on all the flashcards that support the DLDI due to the direct access to the microSD that GameUP needs (for more info, check out the FAQ section).

Changes:

* Improved download function (now more stable and smoother):
– added possibility to abort download (pressing SELECT) avoiding microSD’ corruption
– added automatic request to retry download if something goes wrong
* Added possibility to abort even preview’s download displaying only a part of them (press SELECT for each preview’s download you want to abort)
* Decrease pad and touchscreen sensibility
* More user-friendly rate displaying function (small mushrooms instead of the numeric indicator)
