Robota Softwarehouse were porting GNU Chess over to the iPhone, as a christmas gift to the community.

Release notes:

This game works very much like the XBoard or WinBoard providing a graphical user interface that allows you to move pieces by tapping with your fingers.

The application is not yet perfect and has some limitations. Currently known problems are: – pawn promotion is not handled properly
