Guitar Helper v0.5b (PSP Application)

Guitar Helper should help you to tune your guitar correctly.

Author notes for this release:

Hey guys! Well, i’m back with another release of my guitar assisting application. Its only been one week, but i’ve had a little time to work on it, and now its version .5 BETA, this means more content and less bugs! Installations in the README so please READ IT! Now i’ve pretty much completed all my goals for the .5 series of this application, the next release will be a week or two off, unfortunately i couldn’t implement the Guitar Pro player or the Metronome yet, but the extra scales and Flexible tuner will come in real handy.

pj1115 (PSP misc Source Codes)

pj1115 has decided to quit the PSP scene and made all his stuff available under the GPL. To get details, please read the release thread.

– PSPG (PSPGuides) – Spent a really long time making them, but Google deleted them and I had to go through an unbelievable amount of trouble to get the files. HTML format. A little outdated (goes as far as 3.02, so Devhook, firmware and custom firmware history, downgraders, etc are out of date).

– HideMedia BETA II(FIX) – The fixed version of BETA II, which caused some reversable ‘damage’ to the MS’s folders. Everything works fine now, or so it should. Includes full source. If you encountered this, use my fixer HERE.

– FirmwareAutoBooter – You may not have met this, but I it fashioned a while ago, borrowing some code here-and-there from the open-source SXT’s BFM. It’s a firmware loader, designed for 1.00 debug, with no GUI, so it’s cool if you set it to autoboot in OE. You’ll boot straight into the emulated XMB. Full source included.

– HTML Sound Hack + Flasher – My HTML sound hack’s latest build, as well as the source code for the flasher. If you didn’t see this, it allowed you to modify the PSP’s default browser sounds (ie, for the menu). I don’t think it works about firmware 3.03 since Sony re-organised the files. HTMLviewer.snd no longer exists.

– Outa-Space PSP – My flash0 space free-ing application. Full source included, as well as some tips for further development (in the main.c).

– PSP3D.com Official XMB Theme + Flasher – I suspect that few of you will be interested in the actual theme (which is outdated and incomplete anyway), though the source code for the flasher is included.

Protozoa v1.0 (GP2x Fenix Game)

You play the role of a single cell organism on its quest to become multicellular. You achieve this by eating the other small organisms. For every organism you eat you gain cells and points. Be carefull not to run into yourself or one of the enemies (large pink organisms) as this results in game over.

PSP Rhythm v7.1 (PSP Application)

Inspired by classic drum machines, synthesizers, samplers, and modern audio software, PSP Rhythm is a portable music studio which fuses old and new ideas.

The heart of PSP Rhythm is its sample based playback engine. The playback engine enables you to chop and pitch-shift any sound. Every sampled sound also runs through an individual volume envelope which enables you to alter the attack or decay of the sound. Samples can then be modified with effects such as distortion, slicer, delay, time-stretch, high/low pass filter, and monophonic sample mode.

The on board Bass-line synth in PSP Rhythm is similar to the classic Roland TB-303. TB-303 style features such as Accent and Slide are available. The real-time control of the cutoff and resonance give you that authentic “Acid” sound that made the TB-303 Bass-line synth so famous.

The newest audio tool introduced in PSP Rhythm is the Wave Synth. The Wave Synth uses the basic building blocks of subtractive synthesis with the ability to use any sampled audio source as a digital oscillator.

PSP Rhythm can simultaneously sequence 15 samples or 15 wave synths and 1 Bass-line synth. Sounds are grouped into patterns, patterns can be expanded into songs, and songs can be recorded to CD quality PCM wave format and exported to general midi. Songs can now be loaded and saved per song file which enables you to save and back-up your data as much as you wish.
