Jum has freshly updated his Coleco Vision emulator for PS2 after many years. This version is coded to run off of a CD and has been tested with many game images and almost all run fine. The author quotes that 95% of the games are playable. Great to see an update for this piece of Playstation 2 software after such a long time.

Changes:

1. Tidied up the rom selector
2. Removed extension (.ROM) from being displayed in ROM selector (NB: NO NEED TO REMOVE THE .ROM EXTENSION OFF ROM FILES!)
3. Merge in updates from Colem 3.6 source code
4. Fixes to magnified sprite rendering
5. Modified to work better in NTSC mode.
6. Render 5th sprite (DigDug title screen)
7. Fix to noise channel (colem 3.6 noise code)
8. Fix to beamrider background grid (colour 0 issue)
9. Fix to border / backdrop colour
10. Turbo controller emulation
– PS2 pad “keys” mapped to Coleco 2nd controller
9. Roller controller emulation
– “Spinner” Slither mode

– SELECT for Coleco *
– START for Coleco #
11. PS2 video mode changed to 284×240
– “Zooms” the playfield slightly
– Reduces borders slightly
– Borders needed for same look at CRT TV.

Cylinder is a new Android game by Franz Lankes. This game was already seen on the GP32 years ago under the name Elena. The game is easy to explain… Take a very famous Russian block game and instead of lines, try to produce those lines around a cylinder. Voila!

He decides that the Evil Corporation is too evil for his liking, and begins his solitary quest to overthrow the corporation and punish the evil deeds of his employers.
