Wii Quizz is a quiz/puzzle homebrew application.

Changes:

Wii Quizz save/read the save in data/Wii Quizz/ on SD/SDHC
Added the version of the settings save (settings.dat)
Check each start if a new version of the settings save (settings.dat) is available (adding new options to save, etc …)
Screenshots are now stored in data/Wii Quizz/ on SD/SDHC

OpenTyrian is a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian. Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy. This port is done by Molokai.

Changes:

All DPads now support bidirectional movement. This makes the GC pad much more viable as a controller to use in OpenTyrianWii.
Fix confirmed for the CC DPad bug. It now only functions as a DPad.
Unconfirmed fix for HBC 1.0.2 and up (I tested it on my Wii with 1.0.3 and it worked).
Because of a bug in the joystick saving function, I have temporarily disabled it. Details in Controls.
As a note, turning the volume down on the sfx seems to diminish the popping in the audio, but only slightly. Still looking into a proper resampling.
Also, don’t change the scaler to anything but scale2x. 2x is now a testing ground for the 640×480 upscale, and is unstable.

BootMii is a piece of software that can be installed as an IOS or inserted into the boot process. As an IOS, it provides a fast way to back up your Wii’s internal NAND flash memory, and will eventually form the basis of a new generation of homebrew applications for the Wii. Inserted into the boot process, BootMii provides you with a “safety net” — you can back up your entire Wii to SD in under three minutes! If you were to brick your Wii, BootMii would still run and let you restore your backup from SD, quickly and painlessly. BootMii also allows you to directly boot the Homebrew channel or other homebrew from SD, bypassing the “warning screen” and the rest of the menu.

All DPads are now functional. Wiimote DPad is configured for horizontal gameplay, CC and GC DPads are configured traditionally. However, the CC DPad left seems to act as an escape key. Fix to come later.
