The iFrotz author posted this on his page:
— Turns out the problem is that I overrode the UIkeyboardImpl class to customize word completion, and the keybaord stuff changed a lot in 1.1.1. I’ll try to get a fix out tomorrow, hopefully one that’ll work in 1.0.2 and 1.1.1.

iSwitcher has been revised to work with the new 1.1.1 firmware and it’s subsequent changes. Primarily there is no longer a DisplayOrder.plist file. So… what does iSwitcher do for you with 1.1.1? It will install and replace all icons and it will load in the associated Dock image. It still copies in the wallpaper and other “SummerBoard” related files (with the hope that SummerBoard will return); however in the current 1.1.1 firmware state, these are not displayed.

It seems v0.2.5, which we reported about recently, contains a bug which will be fixed very soon regarding the author. Stay tuned for 0.2.6!

Another news directly from Toc2rta:
So its offical we have released the tiff exploit code. You can navigate in safari to http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com on your Itouch or Iphone 1.1.1. It will crash your Safari but then you will be able to browse the file system with full read/write access. This is only for people who understand what they are doing. You will need IPHUC and some knowledge of how to put/get files.
TUTORIAL FOR WINDOWS http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1570
Check back later for a full breakdown of how the tiff works and what the future holds for Toc2rta and the Itouch & Iphone.
Exploit by Niacin and Dre.
A special thanks to Pumpkin, dinopio, davidc, natetrue,Smileydude, neimod ,Nervegas, erica, roxfan, phire and the rest of the dev team for all their work that helped make this happen. You can visit the dev team’s site here http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Books.app is a simple eBook reader for the iPhone. It reads HTML and text files stored in your Media/EBooks folder, and is smart enough to enter subdirectories, if, for instance, you’ve broken a book down by chapters.
New in version 1.3.5
New options in Preferences panel: “Smart” text file conversion–if it’s ON, it’s the same behavior as always; if it’s OFF, you might have better luck with lists, or with books that don’t use double-newlines to denote paragraphs. Also, you can turn off HTML table rendering; try this if tables make your book’s layout too wide for the iPhone screen.
More subtle progress indicator on launch, and improved cover splash if you have cover art for your books.
Miscellaneous optimizations and bug fixes.

2007/10/10 Known Issue with 1.1.1
I just upgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbroke my phone using the new method, and I’m sad to say that it looks like iFrotz is one of the apps which doesn’t run under 1.1.1. I’m looking into it and I’ll try to get a fixed version out soon.

Here are some interesting news:
Finally! Engadget has confirmed that we have read/write access on the root partition for both the iTouch and iPhone 1.1.1 via the tiff exploit!
Update: We are currently working on a complete exploit rolled into one tiff. We hope to release soon, if we don’t pass out from lack of sleep, that is. Please check back for more news and don’t forget to donate!

Books.app is a simple eBook reader for the iPhone. It reads HTML and text files stored in your Media/EBooks folder, and is smart enough to enter subdirectories, if, for instance, you’ve broken a book down by chapters.
Changes:
New in version 1.3!
Super scrolling! Tap the screen once (as in making the toolbars appear and disappear) and you’ll see a slider, which will allow you instantaneous access anywhere in the file. (It also gives a good indication of how far you’ve read within the file.) Thanks to everyone who requested this.
More fonts available from the Preferences pane! Every font on your iPhone, except those known to not work (mostly variants of American Typewriter, at least as of firmware 1.0.2). For a psychadelic experience, try DB_LCD_Temp-Black.ttf.
A buttload more text encoding choices. Practically everything available.
Change the speed of single-tap scrolling in Preferences! Thanks to Ric Ewing for the suggestion.
Tables no longer foul up the screen width. Currently they’re rendered as preformatted text. There will be an option to turn this off in later versions.
If your book has cover art, it will appear as the splash screen while the book is loading on startup. Remember, put a cover.jpg, cover.png, or cover.gif in your book’s folder to take advantage of this.
Added a donate button to the About box. Because you always need more guilt.
