Introducing Boombox, a new way to experience music on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Powered by Blip.fm, Boombox allows users to search through a catalog of streaming music filled with millions of songs. Users can create playlists from Blip.fm songs or purchase songs through iTunes. Visually, Boombox is reminiscent of classic 80s boomboxes with animated equalizer and pulsing speakers.

Please note that due to Apple bandwidth limitations, Boombox will only allow for streaming music while connected to a WiFi network. Users can still search and add songs to their playlist.

Sidenote: At the point of posting this program has been marked as beeing freely available without costs. As this program is hosted with the AppStore the status might change.
