Context Logger is an application helping researchers/iphone developers and interested users to record and interpret accelerometer data. During the recording of gestures or movements one can label the records so that it’s easy to distinguish the different parts of a signal at a later point. The user can create up to six different labels for each recording. Additionally there’s a live view that allows the user to watch the data on a real-time graph. The application also offers an integrated web server for uploading the records to any computer that’s connected to the same network as the iPhone/iPod touch. For users without any experience in the field of signal recording and signal analysis there is also a ‘Getting Started’ guide which might be helpful.
