Mobile Whacker is a motion sensitive 3D mobile game where the user tries to hit animated snakes as they pop up on the display. The aiming is done by tilting the phone and hitting by quickly doing a strike gesture, as if the mobile phone was a club. No buttons are used for interaction, and when a snake is hit, the user is provided with audible, graphical, and haptic feedback.
The game is provided by the Innovation World and developed by the TeliaSonera R&D as a proof-of-concept for a project investigating Novel Interaction Techniques and sensor based user interfaces.
