You are now playing The Game – a wide-spread social thought experiment with a simple, elegant, and somewhat frustrating premise.

The Game app attempts to capture an official score of The Game, for at least the subset of players with an iPhone or an iPod touch. When a player announces a loss, The Game app synchronizes the loss with a global scoreboard. If Internet access is not available, the loss is stored for later synchronization.
