Tiny Python (tinypy) (Proof Of Concept) (Dingoo Linux misc)

mrLogan was messing around and compiled tinypy for Dingux along with its SDL proof of concept demo.

Warning the SDL demo julia.py works but it doesn’t quit properly (what do you expect from proof of concept)

Wolf3Dingoo (Dingoo Linux Engine Port)

Wolf3Dingoo is a port of Wolf4SDL (Wolfenstein 3D SDL Port), which is an engine port, which can be used to play Wolfenstein 3D.

Because Wolfenstein 3D is showing swastika’s during ingame, we can not provide any links as it would be against german law. In particular it would be against paragraph 86 StGB “Verbreiten von Propagandamitteln verfassungswidriger Organisationen”.

Allthough this is just an engine port of Wolfenstein 3D, the game itself is still indexed in Germany, where our server is hosted. The local law (even if it does not make sense for some of you) simply doesn’t allow us providing any link.

Thanks for your understanding.

FreeDroid (06-08-2009) (Dingoo Linux Game Port)

FreeDroid Classic is a clone of the game “Paradroid” which was released on Commodore 64 in 1985.

In this game, you control a robot located within an interstellar spaceship consisting of several decks connected by elevators.

The aim of the game is to destroy all enemy robots by either shooting them or seizing control over them by creating connections in a short subgame of electric circuits.

CPUD v0.1 (Beta) (Dingoo Linux Application)

cRTrn13 released a very BETA vesion of ‘CPUD’ for Dingux. It’s an automatic CPU clocking daemon.

It uses A600’s code and automatically adjusts the clock speed based on your CPU load, meaning it’ll give you just the amount of juice you need to keep your Dingoo running smoothly and preserve your battery life as much as possible.

DMenu v0.3 (Dingoo Linux Application misc)

Rookie1 updated his menu system for Dingoo Linux which resembles the default Dingoo menu.

Release notes:

Greetings! Attached is Dmenu 0.3. From the changelog for 0.3,

– Fixed a display bug where the menu items above the mainmenu are overlapping
– Execute programs directly instead of via ‘/bin/sh’ to reduce memory usage
– Re-structured config files to add theme support and reading config from application directories. See readme.txt for details.

I have changed the config file handling to support multiple themes, and search other directories to include additional config files. Games/Emulators/Applications can come with their own dmenu.cfg and these will be automatically included in Dmenu as long as they are in the search path. Check readme.txt in dmenu directory to find out more.

As usual, post your suggestions/requests/bug reports in this thread. Enjoy 🙂
