Jouni Miettunen has released a new Symbian OS application.
Release notes:
I’ve been planning application localization for some time now, but it’s always felt like too much trouble. I knew in general how to do it, but the devil is in details.
The wonderful and very informatic (*) PyS60 Forum Nokia Discussion Board contained a link to “Mobile Web Server Tutorial for custom applications” describing how MWS supports localization. This was exactly how I would have done localization, if I had ever actually done it!
The MSW sample was a bit too high-level, so I decided to write some sample code including all the details. Here you are, hope you find it useful!
Please note that initial version contains only text localization, nothing else. Full application lozalication contains more things.
