JME C64 v1.9.4 (C64 emu for J2ME)

JME C64 runs on Java-enabled (MIDP 2.0) mobile devices.

Release notes:

The binaries of the final release for JMEC64 1.9.4 have been added for download. This release is built from the code of SVN revision 688.The release adds support for using a mobile devices accelerometer, as featured by many modern mobile phones, for emulating the joystick directions. So you can move your mobile device and thereby move the C64’s joystick. More a gimmick than being really useful ;-).Please take a look at the release notes for more information on the changes. Choose the emulator download according to the desired target platform:- JME C64 runs on Java-enabled (MIDP 2.0) mobile devices.- JSwing C64 and JAWT C64 run on PCs/Laptops supporting JDK/JRE 1.4 or higher.- Android C64 runs on Android-based mobile devices.

Powder (Release 110) (GP2x Game Port)

Zear has updated the recent Powder release. It’s now in sync with the latest Release/Build 110.

To understand POWDER (http://www.zincland.com/powder/ ), you should first understand roguelikes. “Roguelike” is a term applied to a wide variety of games which share a common inspiration from the game Rogue. A non-exhaustive list of such games would be: ADOM, Nethack, Crawl, Diablo (I & II), Moria, and Angband.

Jack and the Beanstalk (Build 71) (A2600 Game)

atari2600land has posted an update of his Atari 2600 homebrew game “Jack and the Beanstalk” which is based upon a fairy tale with the same name.

Release notes from atari2600land:

Now with the freed up space of banks 1 & 2, I can now make level 1 even larger. Right now, it’s at 32 screens, which is a nice round number, bB coding speaking. I definitely can’t fit 64 screens for level 1, but level 1 is now definitely a lot bigger.

88 bytes left in bank 1 (title screen/level 1)
1,390 bytes left in bank 2 (level 1)
23 bytes left in bank 3 (levels 2 & 4)
5 bytes left in bank 4 (level 3)
1,720 bytes left in bank 5 (ending, game over, giant’s room)
1,089 bytes left in bank 6 (minigame)
4,052 bytes left in bank 7 (empty)
1,630 bytes left in bank 8 (inline 6lives_statusbar.asm)
