Sqdef is a tower defense game for the GP2X. The goal is to prevent enemies from getting from one side of the map to the other by placing towers along their way. There are over a dozen different buildings with upgrades, tech research, difficulty levels, and a whole lot of maps to try your defense skills on! Sqdef also has a powerful on-GP2X map editor that allows you to make your own maps and share them with others. Visit the Sqdef microsite http://artraid.com/sqdef/ for more, including downloads of new map packs.

Targeting the iPhone or iPod Touch platform this project is a reader for Wikipedia articles. The compressed backups can be downloaded from Wikipedia. Not needed data is removed and the result is recompressed. Then an index of the article names is created. The result must be uploaded to the device. Using this software you can then search and display the contents of Wikipedia offline.

qw3rky made a simple music playing application called “Toy Piano DS”. You play a rainbow-colored mini piano keyboard on the bottom screen and all the notes that you play show up on the top screen on a musical staff. The “piano” sound is nothing fancy. It just comes from the procedural sound generators (PSG) on the DS, which makes for an odd combination of 8-bit retro fuzz and Fisher-Price aesthetics.
Controls:
Stylus – play keyboard
Up – raise pitch by one octave
Down – lower pitch by one octave

As once in a while “Art” updated his clock tool / time application “Time Baby”. It’s only for old (fat) PSP’s and dosesn’t work on SLIM or LIGHT ones.
Changes:
– Fix to previous track function where PSP crashed if skipped back past first playlist track.
– Original PSP-120 headphone remote now supported.
– Basic infrared remote control feature implemented.
– Default configuration file is written to Memory Stick if it is not present at program startup.
– MP3.prx (irsmp3.prx) program file is written to Memory Stick if it is not present at program startup.
– Cooleyes’ Media Engine MP3 player is used only for the intro music, and removed from the alarm function.
– MP3 alarm feature will now wake the PSP and resume the active mp3 playlist.
– Code optimisations.
