Megademo IV 2 (DC Demo Port)

MEGADEMO IV 2 is an audiovisual experiment by Artwork.

Quote from http://www.digital-circuits.org/mdiv2/index.html :

This is a quite unusual “scene” demo. As it is unusual in several aspects. It has a very uncommon style using lots of multilayered effects, nearly no 3d scenes and a it has only a “sound-background” instead of the usual, mostly techno-style demo musics.

The other very unusual aspect is that this demo is 100% system independent, it is portable. This was achieved by programming the demo in 100% ANSI C and using no hardware or OS-specific functions (special interrupts etc.)

The demo has been ported to Dreamcast by Marq/Fit.

Vorton (Beta 4) (GP2x Game)

Vorton is a Vorton is a remake of the classic game Highway Encounter.

Description (from Wikipedia):

Highway Encounter is a strategy/action game played from a 3D isometric perspective in which you must successfully chaperone a bomb along a long, straight stretch of highway and into the alien base at the end of it. There are thirty screens to pass through and most are filled with hazards that threaten to block your progress (such as barrels) or destroy you (aliens and explosive mines).

Players control a robotic “Vorton” (resembling a dalek from Doctor Who) and one of the things that provides Highway Encounter with its unique appeal is that the bomb is constantly being pushed onwards by your extra lives – four more Vortons, who accompany you along the highway. It is in fact possible for all your extra lives to be lost without the player character being destroyed once.

Changes:

– Fixed the “Continue” issue. This is now a flight demo.
– Uses .MOD Files for Music Playback
– usage of mmuhack for speedup in flight demo

Pitch N Catch (23-07-2008) (A2600 Game)

How to play:

Choose a play and watch it unfold, as your teammates run along their routes…

Get ready to pass the ball to an open catcher, and lead him to the goal zone!

But watch out for the blocky-blocker, who can intercept the ball and stop your catchers before they score.

Vong (22-07-2008) (A2600 Game)

Vong stands for “Vertical Pong” and is a Pong game for Atari 2600.

Release notes:

Here is the last NTSC version that I am posting. I will not post the final version because I dont want people to make pirate carts. There are also several dummy routines and dummy variables, so hopefully there will be no reverse engineering.

There is no longer joystick support, I perfected my paddle reading routine and adapted it to the kernel, so now there is accurate paddle support (tested on real hardware, works fine). I am still going to fine tune the PAL AI, so I am not going to post a PAL version of this until I do so.
