This is just a preview of a HomeMenu C++ class MetaFight is working on. It’s graphics library independent, so there aren’t too many hassles there. It also allows you to associate your own functions to events such as when the menu opens, closes, redraws.

Nintendomax, a french homebrew development community and news page, have announced their Wii Coding Competition 2009.
There are two existing categories, Games and Applications. Deadline is the 31st May 2009. Some of the prizes are 1 Wii, 1 DSi, 2 DSLite and more.
Also check out for the upcomming PDRoms Coding Competition v4.01, which will be fully announced on 2nd April 2009.

A J2ME application based on some modified-classes written by SUN and provided in the Sun Java Wireless toolkit that extract recursively all the infos from the PIM databases on Treo and save them in a iCal format.
