P-Tapper by Milkymalk is a remake/demake of Tapper known from the Commodore 64.

You use Z to tap a beer. Holding the button will fill the glass, releasing it will send the beer across the table. The fuller the glass is, the more the receiving patron will be knocked back. If all patrons are knocked out of the bar, you win the level. Patrons have to be fully inside to catch the glass (nobody likes being served while he hasn’t even entered yet). Any glass that is not caught will smash and lose you a life.

When they finish drinking, they send the glass back to you. You have to either catch them, giving you a fresh glass (or loses you life if you fail to), or have the waitress collect them, which is convenient, but gives no points and you have to wait for her to return to receive the glasses.

You send the waitress by pressing X next to the bell at the bottom.

When the barrel is empty or close to empty (3 pixels of beer left), you press X while next to it to order a fresh one.

Invader Overload is a PICO-8 game by morningtoast. Basically the game is Space Invaders with a few extras. Collect 3 of the same the color power-ups to gain a powerful new weapon. Shoot the UFO and collect the yellow drop to kick off fever mode! Then collect enough fever mode coins to switch stages and backgrounds. This game is endless. Survive as long as you can while chasing a high score.

Bubble Sort by PAandW Apps is a very simple game. Bubbles fall from the top of the screen. These bubbles are red, green, blue, purple, orange, or yellow. All you have to do is drag each bubble to the same colored circle. If a bubble reaches the bottom or you sort one into the wrong place, you lose. Simple as that.

Yet another Matthew Bennion game is Mega Bargain Hunters. Loosely based on the UK Bargain Hunt game show, obviously removing any character references and anything associated with the show, etc. The general idea is you choose a expert who specializes in a specific field, you choose a flee market / place to buy bargains, your expert gives you a run down of the items you can choose from at the flee market, you haggle with the seller, purchase the item, once you have 3 items you select an auction house, sell items at auction house and try and make a profit.

Did you know Andy Grind is working really hard to bring Cave Story to the Sega Genesis? His version is a rewrite/port of the popular freeware game Cave Story for Sega MegaDrive/Genesis. The engine is built using SGDK, and written almost entirely in C.

Release notes:

There are a lot of crashing fixes after 0.2.1 so if that version crashes during a map transition try this. You SHOULD be able to reach the last bosses. All of which are messed up and buggy. Plantation is also messed up and buggy. I’ve gotten rather burnt out working on this and am gonna go play video games for a while.
