ptitSeb can’t stop porting and presents us Clément Corde‘s Arkanoid SDL compiled and ready to use for Pandora.

The game features more than 30 levels to clear, two graphics mode (cycle with F9) + windows/fullscreen (F10). Notaz’ highly optimized SDL is used as well, which will increase the gaming pleasure.

BTDUN by PowerGod connects to a phone with modem capabilities via Bluetooth to use its internet connection (also known as Bluetooth Dial Up Network Tethering).

Changes:

Bluetooth activation is now automatic (it doesn’t ask anymore), and it will be automatically disabled too at the end of the session if it was started by BTDUN. – Some minor interface improvements.

Narcissu Side 2nd is a free visual novel by the dōjin group stage-nana, telling the story of a terminally ill young man and woman.

Originally, the story of “Narcissu” was written by Tomo Kataoka in 2005 and released for free download on the web. Mr. Kataoka has been exceedingly generous in allowing fans across the globe to translate these two games, on the condition that they be released for free just like the originals were. Thanks to that, the original game has been translated into a number of languages, including English , French , and Chinese . BeebEm by Mike Wyatt is a BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator and enables you to run BBC Micro software. BeebEm was first developed for UNIX systems in 1994 by Dave Gilbert and was then ported to other systems.

Homebrew developer Widdy of Genesis Project and Nuance fame is working on his next big quality Wii homebrew game.

Widdy’s last game was Ironing Maiden and made it into the news of rather huge gaming pages. Who would have ever thought that ironing a T-Shirt could be that much fun?

Talking about his next game, what could it be? Not much is known at all, but a semi-official screenshot shows a toilet scenery with an adequate inventory. After ironing shirts, next coming up is cleaning toilets? We shall wait for the Revision 2013 game development competition to have the secret uncovered! Around Easter 2013 we will know more 🙂

Airball is a game originally published in 1987 by Microdeal. So far the game exists on Dragon 32/64, Atari ST, Amiga, MS-DOS, Atari 8-bit, Game Boy Advance and Android.

ptitSeb took himself a couple of hours to port Clement Corde’s Airball SDL to the OpenPandora handheld.

Turned into a ball by an evil wizard, you’ve to explore and master tons of rooms finding ingredients to brew stuff to get your former human shape back. The ball will deflate and needs air refilling on a regular base, which puts you into serious time pressure. Although Clement’s SDL remake is slightly easier, it’s still a very hard and challenging game.
