S2U2 (Slide2Unlock2) is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don’t use your device. And it’s has a CallerID function.
Although S2U2 is now called v1.16, it doesn’t mean it can be run perfectly on your device. Thanks to different devices produced by different vendors. So, please test it before use it everyday, especially the CallerID function.
Changes:
– fixed the update problem of multiple appointments.
– removed “ReLockWaitMS” which caused some weird problems, i.e. no more relock.
– changed the default value of “NoKeyBoardHook” to 1; it’ll set to 1 as well when the “VolumeControl” is 0.
– fixed the S2U2 Settings that could not save/change the “Volume Control” & “Keyboard Hook” settings.
– some minor bugs fixed.
S2U2 v1.16 seems to have fully replaced v1.15 which has been released earlier, without closer details but the equal changelog.

Dark_Alex has released a new version of his Universal Unbricker homebrew application for the Sony PSP. Using this application you can recover a bricked Sony PSP by installing Dark_Alex’s Custom Firmware via the use of a Sony PSP battery and a little arm work.
Changes:
* Now installs 4.01 M33-2
* Change of core. Now it uses 4.01 M33 core. This fixes some TA-88 crashing because of 1.5/3.40 kernel. Note that there are still other kind of newest TA-88 which cannot boot DC at all.
* GUI of both installer and DC itself changed to a xmb looking one.
* Added the option “Test M33” which boots 4.01 M33-2 from the memory stick.

CrazyC has released a new version of his DOS emulator for the Sony PSP. Using this emulator you can run a lot of your retro DOS games and applications on your portable video gaming console.
Release notes:
I put up a new binary with probably fixes it. Dosbox was checking for 0 as open(3) failure rather then the correct -1. Also, I added modifier support to imagemap. Put a,s or c after the key to and alt, shift or ctrl to the keypress; as for alt and shift, sca for shift, ctrl and alt etc… (actually this is untested, tell me if it doesn’t work).
