Dicewars DS is a multiplayer version of a popular Flash based strategy game Dicewars for Nintendo DS handheld console.

Your task is to conquer the whole game field by rolling dice. Each turn you may attack any opponent’s territory from one of your adjacent territories as long as your territory has more than one die on it. When attacking, If you roll more than the defender, you win. FreeSCI (10-10-2007) (Beta) (GP2x misc)

FreeSCI is a virtual machine made to run many classic adventure games from Sierra on modern operating systems.

Release notes from Hooka:

I recently picked up work on the GP2X ports of Freesci, so I decided to give you guys a little tester while I work through my list of “need to do’s” for an actual release.

Glutton is the newer, yet more unstable branch of Freesci. It has some nice features, but it maybe impossible to finish games, no savestates, etc.

On the GP2X you have a few different input methods, and you can change between them using select. Please read the README.GP2X for more info. For general freesci info, check the respective versions README.

Tabbed v0.13 (NDS Application)

Wizlon has updated his NDS application Tabbed, which is a guitar chord finder for NDS.

Release notes:

A quick update.

I’ve been a bit annoyed that you can’t really use Tabbed to view tab files, mainly because it can only display 1024 characters, it is slow to scan through files and the scroller can’t be turned on and off, or altered. But all this is now fixed. Just small things, but I think it helps. Use L+R to alter the speed of the scrolling. A to start and stop the scrolling. Up and Down to move one line and Left and Right to quickly scroll through the file.

Also. Do people want quick daily/weekly updates with a few minor fixes or do you prefer massive service pack sorta releases? Personally I don’t mind, it’s up to you lot.

Books.app v1.3 (iPhone Application)

Books.app is a simple eBook reader for the iPhone. It reads HTML and text files stored in your Media/EBooks folder, and is smart enough to enter subdirectories, if, for instance, you’ve broken a book down by chapters.

Changes:

New in version 1.3!
Super scrolling! Tap the screen once (as in making the toolbars appear and disappear) and you’ll see a slider, which will allow you instantaneous access anywhere in the file. (It also gives a good indication of how far you’ve read within the file.) Thanks to everyone who requested this.

More fonts available from the Preferences pane! Every font on your iPhone, except those known to not work (mostly variants of American Typewriter, at least as of firmware 1.0.2). For a psychadelic experience, try DB_LCD_Temp-Black.ttf.

A buttload more text encoding choices. Practically everything available.

Change the speed of single-tap scrolling in Preferences! Thanks to Ric Ewing for the suggestion.

Tables no longer foul up the screen width. Currently they’re rendered as preformatted text. There will be an option to turn this off in later versions.

If your book has cover art, it will appear as the splash screen while the book is loading on startup. Remember, put a cover.jpg, cover.png, or cover.gif in your book’s folder to take advantage of this.

Added a donate button to the About box. Because you always need more guilt.
