PCSX-ReARMed is another PCSX fork, based on PCSX-Reloaded. It has no relation to PSX4ALL, PSX4Pandora or PCSX4ALL (other than being PCSX derived) and has the source available (under GPL2). The main feature it has is Ari64’s dynarec, modified to suit PCSX. There is a bit of NEON for color space conversion too. The compatibility should be close to the PC version.
Other notes:
BIOS files are optional, but are needed for compatibility with some games. These uncompressed files should be copied to /pandora/appdata/pcsx_rearmed/bios/ , and selected after launching the emulator itself (Optopns -> BIOS/Plugins).
SMPlayer2 contains MPlayer2 and SMPlayer2. MPlayer2 is a fork of the general purpose video player MPlayer with some additional development, and SMPlayer2 is a nice GUI frontend for MPlayer2.
This build contains additional features like:
– omapfb video output driver from openpandora git plus a couple additional bugfixes/hacks
– Latest development versions of libdvdread and libdvdnav – (fixes issues with playing some copy protected dvds)
– Small customizations to default smplayer2 config:
* Make omapfb default video out driver
* Disable audio equalization (used too much cpu)
PandaBAS is a Pandora port of the SpecBAS BASIC interpreter. Based on Sinclair BASIC, but allowing the user to take advantage of more modern hardware – 8bit graphics, sound samples/mod/mp3 etc, with a much more advanced graphics and windowing system.
