A game with and about flowers 🙂
In the platform game Gannatsu Portable you have to collect items floating around the whole level. But you don’t only jump around, because you also can use a grappling hook to reach your goals or jump higher.
Kiwiz has released his first GP2x homebrew game to the public. The game is coded using Fenix.
juanvvc has spiced up the Gameboy Classic / Gameboy Color emulator Lemonboy2x.

Sakura is a game available for GP2x and Windows, coded by Alpha Secret Base.
Gannatsu is another GP2x game coded by the creators of Kaiten Patissier, which has been posted earlier these days.
Due to the lack of japanese and a lost GP2x, we can not give any closer details.
Because faster is better, here is another version of GP2X-CAP32 the CPC emulator for GP2X.
Changes:
– Speed improvements
– Add gzipped disk file support, reduce disk file size from 190k to 20k !
(you may gzip original dsk file using www.7-zip.org)
Of course, gzipped disk files are also browsable using disk explorer
inside the emulator, and when possible, they can be run automatically.
– A thumbnail image is now displayed in the file requester
while selecting any file with the same name of a previously
saved game (snapshot, disk, keyboard, settings).
It might be very helpful to recognize that game later if you
have thousand different games in your disk and snapshot folders !
– The virtual keyboard is now usable in the file requester menu to
choose the first letter of the game you search !
– In the emulator menu you can go directly to keyboard and settings
menu using the L-Trigger key.
– The sound can be set a bit louder

A new game for the GP2x is out, Kaiten Patissier!
Quote from Indiegames:
Kaiten Patissier is the latest game from D.K., several months in the making, and which I highly recommend. It uses the same “collect-them-all” mechanic as Good Luck Natsuki, but is built entirely around the concept of rotating the levels to re-adjust the locations of platforms, boxes, walls, floors, and ceilings (Kaiten is Japanese for “rotate”). After collecting all but the last item in each level, a bonus item will appear somewhere in the level, so be sure to keep an eye out for the bonus items if you want to get 100% completion.
As I note, I contributed several of the levels in the game, so you’d better download it and check it out!
The zip file contains versions for Windows, Debian Linux (should work okay on other distributions as well), and the GP2X.
Name: Kaiten Patissier
Developer:Alpha Secret Base
Category: Puzzle
Type: Freeware
Size: 15MB

If you upgrade from anything lower than v4.x.x make sure to install v4.0.2 first, unless you want to hold a brick in your hands.
