Franxis has updated his Mame port for the GP2x.
Changes:
– The GP2X F200 compatibility has been fixed. It seems to be a bug in the new firmware 4.0.
The 15360 and 33075 Hz sound frequencies don’t run (16000 and 32000 Hz frequencies are now used instead).
Thanks to Eclipse for his help testing in the F200.
– The Z80 C core has been replaced by the MAME 0.53 one. It is more accurate and not slower. Thanks to TTYman.

GP2x-Write is a text-editor for the GP2x by zx-81.
Hi All,
Here a new version of gp2x-write the text editor for GP2X.
For those who haven’t seen previous release, it permits to edit even huge text file, in both dos and unix mode, using iso8859-1 (8bits) characters encoding. All iso8859-1 characters are present in the “Danzeff like” virtual keyboard.
What’s new then ?
– Two cursor modes :
. the cursor move only on already written text (useful to edit existing text file)
. the cursor can move everywhere (useful to display existing text file)
You can download it on my blog : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license, read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.
Enjoy,
Zx.

Round Em Up is an arcade puzzle game where the aim is to get the sheep (the white blobs ) into their sheep pen (the lighter green area). You do this by guiding them to the sheep pen by placing the primary obstacle the bushes or special items such as rocks or pits.
Full details on the game can be found in the readme included with the download. Please note this is an unfinished game and its continuation depends on feedback from players on how to improve the game.

Release notes:
This is a very simple test program with SDL interface. It detects automatically your bt device and load the corresponding modules. Next, it scan bt devices and display devices found directly on screen.
This works fine on GPH Firware 3.0.0 but not on open2x due to bad kernel modules. I am working to correct this. Please send me your comments and suggestions and/or your test report if you decide to try it. Note that if you try to launch it without plug any device, the program will exit before you can see the GUI, with error message into the console.
The sourcecode is included in this package and you can modify it for specific applications (under the GPL license).
