Dox was working on a Gameboy DMG game for one of the previous PDRoms Coding Competitions, but the game never got done, nor did it had any big publicity as work in progress news.
But here we go… just few days ago Dox posted an update, which we will gladly quote…
Quote:
Finally, after long break i’m working again on one of my old “afterwork” projects – a Gameboy Mono (DMG) game. The gfx (made by Adam ) is almost done. Also audio part (by ne7 ) is completed. The most important element – code – is (still … ) missing. Only the basic skeleton is done.
Thanks to Dox himself for the hint!

WLA DX has stagnated a lot recently but there has been progress since the last time (November 2006). WLA DX is a Macro Assembler Package for GB-Z80/Z80/6502/65C02/6510/65816/HUC6280/SPC-700 and was written by Ville Helin.
Changes:
– data filtering macros (looks useful for non-standard string encoding)
– Mersenne Twister random numbers (not that you’d use them much at compile-time)
– Label and line number bugfixes

kedo managed to reupload 99% of the old PDRoms Archive to the new system we are currently using, this means the Gameboy Archive is fully back!
Content:
Gameboy All Files (340)
Gameboy Games (233)
Gameboy Demos (94)
Gameboy Techdemos (6)
Gameboy Applications (1)
Gameboy Miscellaneous (6)
Most games are are available for download, while some had to be locked, specially the once bearing the name “Tetris” 1:1 in the title. The “Tetris Company” is quite agressive against trademark abuse, so we had to take this step.
Now go and enjoy the GB/GBC Archive with many homebrew pearls, which were released the past years.
In behalf of our visitors, many thanks to kedo for his effort uploading the files and making plenty of screenshots! It was for sure a time taking task.
