MNPlight aims at getting rid of the need for a computer with iTunes. It runs on your iPhone, and is able to modify the iPhone calendar, address book and iPod databases.
MNPlight can be of particular interest for Linux users who don’t have iTunes, but it can also be used by other users when they want to update their iPhone data when they are away from their iTunes computer.
If you keep using iTunes, you may experiment problems with the Calendar and the Address Book since modifications done on your iPhone won’t be seen by iTunes.
Changes:
* Transfers: new transfers feature between two iPhone on Wifi
* Web site moved to http://movenplay.gforge.inria.fr/ (it should be used as your “update_url” in mnplight.ini for update from within MNPlight)

GoSub2, the successor of GoSub has been updated…
Release notes:
I cut off the sfx for the torpedoes and brought back scoring with this version. These were quick changes to make. I’ll add some quick speed thingy soon. Thanks for the comments and feedback so far. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how a possible bonus round would work?
EDIT: The scoring will work properly if you change this
if byte3=$A0 then byte3=$10
to this:
if byte3=$A0 then byte3=$00 : byte2=byte2+$01
This fix will be in the next version I release.

gpSPhone is a GBA emulator based ZodTTD’s port of gpSP to the GP2X. gpSP is a great GBA emulator written by the talented Exophase. ZodTTD ported it to the GP2X, and added an (iPhone/iTouch compatible) dynarec. By using this coding technique, fullspeed performance of GBA is obtained on the iPhone/iTouch.
Release notes:
A lot of users found v0.1.5 to be slower than previous releases. I have fixed this performance related bug, as well as try my best to improve sound quality. I have also fixed a performance related bug related to autoframeskip, and a bug has been fixed related to crashes when clicking ROMs list when sound is muted.
This is a highly recommended upgrade and will appear on Installer.app shortly. It should improve performance, stability, and sound considerably for many users.
In the meantime, please follow the link below to download…

Also, I am currently working on a landscape/widescreen mode as well as a better handling of diagonals for the dpad. That will have to wait til next release. 🙂
Changes:
– Performance increase from fixing dynarec memory allocation
– Performance increase from fixing autoframeskip initialisation
– Sound quality improved
– Muting works properly, no longer crashes when exiting to ROMs list
