jbs3000 updated his QBert remake for Atari 2600.
Release notes:
OK, here’s an alternate version with the updated level 2. I think it looks better, but since this thread is titled “Give me your honest opinion”……well, go for it 🙂

Emulates DragonDOS, Delta and RSDOS disk systems.

Reads and writes DMK format virtual floppy diskettes.

Release notes:
The DS port is advancing nicely. This version features interface for input configuration (though this doesn’t get recorded anywhere yet, so you have to set it each time) and snapshot saving. Sound is now pretty much spot on, and video is synced to 50Hz where appropriate (DS allows its current idea of which scanline it’s on to be modified). ROMs should sit in fat:/dragon/roms/ (or just fat:/dragon/). Swapping screens (‘START’ by default) now maps the touch screen to analogue joystick input (good for games like Katerpillar Attack).
It is built against a recent CVS checkout of libfat, so supports DLDI patching (shouldn’t be required for most recent flash carts).

M33xEver by Red Squirrel is a simple VSH plugin that sets the date of your PSP to 02/04 every time you boot the console!
Eugene Plotnikov has updated his SMS (Simple Media System) multimedia playing application for the Sony PS2. Using this program you can view multimedia files including DIVX, AVI, XVID, MPEG, MP3, etc … on your Sony Playstation 2 video gaming console.
Changes:
– added FLAC audio support;
– added small (32 entries FIFO) history buffer for video clips. It is saved into ‘SMS’ folder on the memory card. History is based on the absolute file name. Only clips that were ended by the user action (triangle gamepad button) are added/updated to the history buffer and the buffer is saved automatically, so there can be some pause when playback is ended by the user;
– added support for raw .ac3 audio files;
– added functionality to control vertical image position for video clips. It is available via player menu during playback and may be useful to display subtitles more nicely;
– updated USB mass storage driver (added device handling with sector sizes other than 512 bytes);
– updated network driver;
Blix32 is a remake of Nick Kouvaris’s flash game Blix. The goal is to form columns of same-coloured tiles by scrolling the three rows. Each scroll costs 2 moves, and each cleared column wins you 1 move. The game ends when you run out of moves.

This is an extension to the previous touchscreen tests, besides the previous test accessing the hardware directly, now includes a test using SDL only. Also tests for various resolutions.

Here is a new version of silmarilion’s music player GameMusicGear. This is just a Release Candidate, if you find bugs let the author know about it (gama.coder_at_gmail.com) and he will try to fix it in the final v1.0.
A new version of ChessNET will approach soon.

Welcome to the new home of the ChessNET DS Project. This website will be your number one source for all ChessNET related news.
And for those of you who are curious, ChessNET is still under development and coming along nicely. Nearly all of the Release 1 glitches have been fixed, and many missing features have been added.
Here’s a little list of improvements that have occured so far:
New ROM Icon. It looks swanky. :>
Fixed a huge buffer error in the way ChessNET retrieved it’s data.
Added account handles and passwords.
Fixed Checkmate detection. (No more victory on check!)
Added Castling support.I expect to have En Passant and the 50 move rule in within a few days. I’ve been fighting the new server version a little too. But keep your eyes on this page, there will be more news soon.
The whole point of the program is to unlock you device not with some alphanumeric sequence or a simple key combination, but with a sequence/pattern of points on screen.
