Bluetooth2x (GP2x misc)

Release notes:

This is a very simple test program with SDL interface. It detects automatically your bt device and load the corresponding modules. Next, it scan bt devices and display devices found directly on screen.

This works fine on GPH Firware 3.0.0 but not on open2x due to bad kernel modules. I am working to correct this. Please send me your comments and suggestions and/or your test report if you decide to try it. Note that if you try to launch it without plug any device, the program will exit before you can see the GUI, with error message into the console.

The sourcecode is included in this package and you can modify it for specific applications (under the GPL license).

PSP Doom v1.1 (PSP Game Port)

Chilly Willy updated his PSP Doom port:

Changes:

Fixed problem with strafing and turning at the same time.
Big cleanup of the controller handling code in general.
Added ability to disable the analog stick and to calibrate it.
Added two forms of cheats.
If there is no default settings file, or if the default doesn’t specify the main WAD file, it now tries to set the main WAD to the shareware WAD (idiot compensator).

All 27 games are ported on NDS: Tents, Dominosa, Mines, Bridges, Light Up (aka Akari), Pattern (aka Picross), Net (aka Netwalk), Untangle (aka Planarity), Sudoku (aka Solo), Galaxies, Slitherlink (aka Loopy), Blackbox, Mastermind (aka Guess), Map, Filling, Solitaire (aka Pegs), Sixteen, Fifteen, Slant, Rectangles, Netslide, Samegame, Unequal, Flip, Inertia, Twiddle and Pyramid (adaptation of Cube).

Release notes:

Everyday a beta version… you’re lucky, aren’t you?

Then the list of bugs fixed:

– German description of Pyramide was making the the top screen corrupted.
– Mp3 streaming was crashing when hi-scores were beaten, it should not occur anymore
– In Unequal and Sudoku, the keyboard didn’t dislpay anymore the numbers 0 to 4, they are back again.

There is still a bug in Bridges when mp3 is playing.
As I can’t fix it -for now- you should disable mp3 streaming to play Bridges.

Anything else?
OK OK, THE link to download it 😉

Comments are back, so go go go!

PSP Doom v1 (PSP Game Port)

Here’s Chilly Willy’s conversion of ADoomPPC, one of the better DOOM conversions (for the Amiga). It’s got a simple, decent gui that runs before you start the game which allows you to set most of the major DOOM settings. On the Slim PSP, it supports TV out. This arc includes the source, two sets of MIDI instruments and the shareware WAD file. Up to date as of 2007/10/28.
