eke-eke has once again updated our SkeenDev’s SMSPlus Sega Master System / Game Gear emulator. Using this emulator you can enjoy your classic games on your Nintendo Wii/GameCube.

If you want to load roms from a SDCARD, they must be placed (zipped or not) in a directory called SMSROMS. Read the NFO included for more detailled options.

Changes:

– corrected bug which made some SMS games not being displayed fullscreen
– modified sound mixer for more correct FM music (try Wonderboy III Dragon’s Trap with FM enabled)
– FM is now disabled by default (only a few games use the FM unit and enabling FM forces the console type to japanese)

GP2XMB is an alternative launcher for the GP2X, with the same visual layout as the Cross Media Bar.

Changes:

* Added support for launching the original frontend. Select [Original Frontend] in the [Settings] menu to exit GP2XMB and launch the original frontend.
* Added support for updating the system through a single update file. Place the update file (gp2xmb.update) in the root of the SD memory card and select [System Update] from the [Settings] menu to perform a system update.
* GP2XM now features support for transferring files to either the Nand memory or the SD memory card over the USB interface. Select [USB Connection] from the [Settings] menu and then select whether to share the SD memory card or the Nand memory.
