Scavenger by David Ashley is a arcade/thinking game very much like Lode Runner. You’ve got to run around and collect objects while avoiding enemies. Some objects are buried and you’ve got to dig down to get at them. It’s an addictive game and some of the levels are devilishly (cruelly) complicated to solve.

Driar is a platform-game for the Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom written by Stefan Adolfsson and David Eriksson. Rickard Nilsson helped out in early development. The game is designed for PAL (50Hz) systems, but works well on NTSC (60Hz) systems as well. The game and music will however play a bit faster on a NTSC system.
Take control of Driar and collect all the stars on each level to progress. You can walk around the screen (if you exit the screen on the right side you will reappear on the left side) – remember this and use this to your advantage. There are 38 levels in total.

Retrobattle by Andreas Remar is made to look and feel like the classic arcade-style NES games, such as Ice Climber and Clu Clu Land. Not only are the sprites limited to three colors each, but the scoring, increasing difficulty, and setup of the game makes for a challenging arcade experience that mixes various oldschool concepts. Note that playing on Skill 1 is pretty boring compared to the havoc of Skill 8, so it may seem slow at first.
Hurrican by Poke53280 is a freeware jump and shoot game based on the Turrican game series. Blast your way through nine action-packed levels filled with different enemies and powerups.

Kleinkraft by hnm, for Wiz and Caanoo, is a very early attempt for a Minecraft style engine. The release is as is and probably wont see any enhancements in the future. All you can do is fly around and remove/set blocks.
