Robota Softwarehouse updated their version/port of “Go”.
Release notes:
We had a lot of email from people claiming they have ‘fatty’ fingers and cannot play the 19 x 19 board. Many suggestions have been given to improve the placing of the pieces on the tiny board (thanks!). After experimenting we have chosen to implement the zoom/scroll function and a quick way to undo the last move (including the opponents move). Last but not least the game supports stepping through a loaded game.
About 2% of application is paid so please don’t forget to donate if you like the game!

Quickest Exit is a very simple plugin to activate in GAME. Its function is to replace the classical HOME meni (the meni that appear when you presses HOME during a game or homebrew) and to enable the quick exit from the game or homebrew. So, if you enable the plugin, when you will press the HOME button during a game or homebrew, PSP will return to dashboard immediately, with a great time profit.

A new version of SMS or Simple Media System for the Sony Playstation 2 has been released. Using this program you can view multimedia files. It’s most noteworthy change would have to be the support for (avi) files up 4GB in size.
Simple Media System: Tiny yet powerful DivX/Xvid/MP3 player for the PS2. SMS will read video files from a variety of sources: Network Streaming, USB Drives, Hard Drives, CD/DVD-ROM.
Changes:
changed font drawing algorithm
* slightly changed .avi parser in attempt to fix incorrect header data. Thanks to ‘Startropic1’ for the sample clip
* fixed bug related to localized folder names (impossible to browse) in SMB driver (thanks to ‘Hikarudo’ for the remark and sample
* added support for MBCS subtitles; – added support for big (max. 4GB) OpenDML .avi files. Thanks to ‘KnoWei’ for the sample clip; Note: big files have a hudreds of thousands of indices. Each index entry consumes 16 bytes, so system can simply run out of memory (SMS exception handler will be activated) under certain conditions (big resolutoins, subtitles, multibyte fonts etc.)

Yeti3D is a well known 3D engine. Lineus picked up the work on the existing GP2x port and improved it.
Release notes:
I am now, what, the 5th generation maintainer of this code?
Anyways, I took synkr0’s port and pretty much just tweaked a couple of things, like
the “keyboard” structure, remapped the controls, got rid of that annoying SDL cursor,
and added some SERIOUS optimizations — It runs just fine at over full speed with the
2x underclocked to 130 MHz on my setup at least. I even managed to shrink the
executable – I’m a whole 10kb under synkr0’s file! The makefile I used is Makefile –
synkr0’s has been renamed to Makefile-synkr0.
Controls are now:
Joystick – move
Start – exit
Y – look up
X – look down
A – fire
B – jump
Enjoy.
NOTE: exit does not call the menu to start again, so you’ll have to either write a script
or use the wonderful gmenu2x’s wrapper feature.
Next step – fix minor bugs and do a complete re-haul. This is gonna be fun.
