M.K. updated his Game Boy Emulator for the Virtual Boy. Great to see M.K. is still supporting the development and goes on bringing 100’s of games to a platform they never existed for.
Seriously… is there any reason the Atari VCS should be not having a Flappy Bird style game? Oh wait… thanks to iesposta there is actually a game very similar to it named Flappy.
In Roll Boss Rush by isufje you play as Megaman’s sister ROLL, but not the Roll based on the Japanese Canon, but the Ruby Spears Megaman Cartoon. There are now 4 difficulty levels (easy-normal-hard & one-hit). You choose one main weapon (straight-spread-charge or burst) and one sub-weapon (vacuum-toaster-saw). You can also now choose between fighting 1 or 2 bosses at the same time (mono-melee) regardless of your difficulty level.
During battles you can grab your enemy and absorb their power and use it against them. She can even perform some physical attacks such as a drop kick. You also have a super meter that allows you to perform a SUPER MOVE. Based on what weapon you’re currently using, you can perform different SUPER MOVES. Each boss has a weakness, much like every other Megaman game. At the end of each battle, you’re given a grade based upon your performance, an information token along with a password.

Zpace Racers is a space racing game by DanB. It’s playable but still considered more a technical demo which might evolve into a real game if there is enough feedback and interest from the last few Virtual Boy users out there.

Chris Read aka atari2600land continues working on his 2D fighting game Insecticide. It’s easy to kill a bug, but how about when you’re a bug yourself? Strap yourself into a bug’s shoes and fight to the death. Are you strong enough to perform insecticide?
Mario Combat by thunderstruck is not yet a complete game, but already playable. Shoot various Mario enemies and gain score!
Is this good, is it bad? Possibly a matter of taste, but seeing the player in the skin of Mario and shooting his enemies just like you do in Doom or Quake… gives Mario Combat a very special aspect.
Crossword games can not be only find in newspapers and other magazines but with the help of 3D Crosswords even on Nintendo’s Virtual Boy. VirtualChris is the one to thank for this.
Deathchase is a remake of the 1983 ZX Spectrum game of the same name by Mervyn J. Estcourt. Like the original, it is fast-paced and challenging, but the addition of higher-resolution, stereoscopic graphics takes it to the next level! Virtual Boy coding by HorovatM. See the readme file for the story, controls, and game rules.
