ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft’s Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution’s Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep’s Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision’s Gobliiins; Westwood Studios’ The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts’ SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. You can find a thorough list with details on which games are supported and how well on the compatibility page. ScummVM is continually improving, so check back often.
Changes:
* Broke portrait mode a bit in the last update. Fixed.
* Did some minor display and mouse cursor optimizations (your framerate won’t drop when you move the “mouse” around a lot anymore).

NES.app is a fully functional, feature-rich Nintendo emulator for Apple’s iPhone.
NES.app uses a heavily modified version of the InfoNES emulation core to mimic the 6502 processor in a Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing you to play ROM dumps of games designed for the NES console. ROM dumps are files containing the dumped instruction code from a physical cartridge. In many cases, you are legally entitled to posess a ROM dump of any game that you presently own. ROM images for NES are widely available online, or with the appropriate hardware, you can dump them yourself directly from the cartridge.
NES.app started as a fork of iPhoneNES v0.01, but has been completely rewritten to run very fast, and with many additional features including sound, multitouch support, full-screen, landscape mode, game genie codes, saved games and much more.
Changes:
[jonz] Added delete confirmation of saved games
[jonz] Made “Don’t Save” game option destructive/red button

Changes:
Optimized some screen handling stuff, which mainly affects the AGOS engine (Simon the Sorcerer should run a lot better now).

ZodTTD has updated his marvellous GBA emulator gpSPhone for iPhone. Thanks to ZodTTD himself for the news, this one is pretty much a zero second news 😉
Changes:
– Fixed a memory leak causing crashes when loading roms in the middle of a game.
– Fixed suspend/resume mode. Make sure it’s enabled in preferences/settings when upgrading.
– Improved dynarec performance by adding more staticly allocated registers.
You need to be registered with ZodTTD’s webboard, to obtain a copy of gpSPhone. Registration itself is free.

Just tap on the screen and see how taps are handled and strokes are calculated into bezier control points. This application serves no other purpose that to show the touch screen’s diagnostics.

MNPlight aims at getting rid of the need for a computer with iTunes. It runs on your iPhone, and is able to modify the iPhone calendar, address book and iPod databases.
MNPlight can be of particular interest for Linux users who don’t have iTunes, but it can also be used by other users when they want to update their iPhone data when they are away from their iTunes computer.
If you keep using iTunes, you may experiment problems with the Calendar and the Address Book since modifications done on your iPhone won’t be seen by iTunes.
MNPlight can now read Web Radios and a PXL package is available!

Dali Clock is a digital clock. When a digit changes, it “melts” into it new shape. The date is displayed when the screen is tapped. The clock also does funky psychedelic color cycling.

Fractalicious is an app which calculates vectorbased fractals (that means, no Mandelbrot etc., but ferns, trees, Sierpinski triangles, etc.). It’s very easy to use – use two fingers (“pinch”) for zooming, moving and even rotating the fractal (note the “and”!), or drag a control point to change proportions/angles.
