RickyD by Paulo Assis is a clone of FireBird’s Rick Dangerous features levels for Rick Danderous 1 and 2. All aspects of the game, from objects to tiles and sound, maps are also written in xml, so they can be easily edited. Creating completely new maps is very easy, just create a new tileset and use a tool like tiled to put everything together. Ported to Pandora by ptitSeb.
Changes:
* Now with Compo4All! Use the “RickyD C4A” launcher to have your score (silently) submited to leaderboard.
* Recompiled some parts, should be faster. Also, put an Overclock of 800Mhz in the PXML.

Hello,
Did a quick port of XRick. For those that do not know it, it’s a clone of Rick Dangerous
Now with quick and dirty i mean fully playable, but action is mapped to enter (i’d prefer an actionbutton, but simply mapping to HOME or END does not work, so gotta find another way)
Also Scores are not saved on exit, but it does not seem to save on pc either so im going to look into that.
So if you want to play it: Here it is
Controls:
Movement – D-Pad left/right
Jump – D-Pad Up
Shoot – Enter + D-Pad Up
Bomb – Enter + D-Pad Down
Pause – P
Esc – Exit
Enjoy!
Edit: i uploaded a windowed version to the archive first, and just now a boxed fullscreen version. Might not be updated yet, apparently it’s not instant, dunno.

Wii
The WiiNewz community is warning about “dangerous files”. Their original article is linked below.
Quote:
It has come to our attention that there are numerous “joke” or otherwise dangerous files currently in circulation. These include preloader 0.29, several “channel” versions of the USB Loader, etc. that contain “Rick rolls” or otherwise malicious code.
Sorry… this is not funny to some of us.
The majority of the apps are originating from GBAT3mp. The administrators there can no longer keep up with the massive amount of lameness that emanates from their forum. As a result, we are no longer allowing hotlinks to their site.
In addition, there is now a release from “Team Twiizlers” claiming to be a preview of BootMii. It is, of course, fake and will only display a message saying …
“Hello World!
LOL IT WORKS! Welcome to the Team Twizzlers BootMiiOut installer. Normally we would insert a disclaimer here, but the state of the economy has forced us to cut costs.
The installer will install Google Toolbar and IOS1337. We forgot to map the install process to a Wiimote button, so users will need to whine in #wiidev about this issue. Meanwhile, the HOME key will exit.”
Do not install anything on your Wii until has been confirmed legitimate by more than one user!!!
Thanks to http://www.tehskeen.com for the news.
