Cal2X is a calculator application for the GP2x by Baek Jonghyeon.
This is a modification of Dzz’s splendid Nethack port by Cadu. This project aims at adding some missing commands from dzz’s nethack port, basically if you want to ascend in this seemingly impossible game you have to use *all* available tools.
Changes:
– Some banner stating that it’s a nethack port
– added the “clean” target in Makefile (source)
– added the “D” command to the menu (Drop with type selection/multi-item)
Perfectfit is a puzzle game by Akuma no Houkon and was previously available for the GP32.
Here comes Drill2x Xtreme from a french developer! This is a very polished version of Mr. Driller for the GP2x.
Metalbrain has updated his ZX Spectrum emulator GP2xpectrum.
Changes:
– More speed optimizations, and this time they are noticeable. 48K Sound sound be cleaner, and if it was already clean before, you may put down the speed a bit without any problems
– Now in virtual keyboard Y button will press a key and disable virtual keyboard (useful for game menus)
– Small changes to the configuration menu:
— Now the default option is Return
— Load State and Save State have been separated to decrease the chance of mistakes
Reword is a word puzzle game for the GP2x.
Changes:
– fixed (I think) rogue letters flying off screen on shuffle
– fixed memory leak in letter sprite class destructor
– fixed pressing Y in pause mode would end game
– speeded up menus fractionally (ok Jozef?) but more to do
– changed stick+L+R exit to go to hiscore if needed
ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the game, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft’s Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution’s Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep’s Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision’s Gobliiins; Westwood Studios’ The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts’ SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. You can find a thorough list with details on which games are supported and how well on the compatibility page.
Among the systems on which you can play those games are Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Dreamcast, PocketPC, PalmOS, AmigaOS, BeOS, OS/2, PSP, PS2, SymbianOS/EPOC and many more…
