VNCServer2x is a simple VNC server for the GP2x.
Make sure you have network working. Then telnet and launch vncserver2x in background (“./vncserver2x &”). You can also put this in a script and return to the menu. Then start a VNC viewer to the gp2x ip address. You should see your screen on your pc. This will work on most programs (that use /dev/fb0), some programs won’t work (eg mplayer, …).

News from ledow:
An update to the earlier Beta 1 on my efforts to port Simon Tatham’s Portable Puzzle Collection to the GP2X. This is a a set of 27 addictive logic and puzzle games. Some are old favourites (like sudoku, sliding puzzles and minesweeper) and others you may not have seen before.
This is the second beta release of the entire collection of the games, which I now call “STPPC2x”. This beta has 26 fully-working games, the only remaining one is completely unplayable on the GP2X – mines, a minesweeper clone. I’m trying to get help from Simon Tatham himself to fix this as I think it may be that the “Portable” puzzle collection isn’t as portable as you might think.

Gets videos from YouTube and transcodes them to GP2X compatible video files. Also supports other video portals. Includes a GUI module (youtubed-2x_gui.py).
Changes:
This is a quick update to YouTubed-2x. I have finally found tips on better practices regarding using PyGTK in multi-threaded applications; I was along the right track with the last release. Now I can say that the GUI is solid.
Also, XTube support has been removed. This was originally planned before the last release as XTube has become useless to me. The plan was to keep XTube support in YouTubed-2x until the parser broke and that has now happened.
Overall, this release is a very minor update.

PAK-9 released a puzzle game called Tangle for GP2x.
Release notes:
I got quite excited when I saw Ledow’s port of Untangle, but I was dissapointed by the poor interface, so I took it upon myself to make an improved version.
You can select between 6, 12 and 24 point puzzles. No touchscreen support yet I’m afraid, I dont own an F200 🙁
