Morgan has updated his graph calculation program for Nintendo DS.
Release notes:
I added graphing capabilities for up to four functions at once. Functions are now entered with the graph screen instead of having their own screen, I added a cursor for inputting functions, and functions are now easier to edit. Press GPH to access the graph screen/function editor, use the up and down keys to move between functions, and press ENT when you are finished editing them. Press the GPH key again to graph the functions.

Multiple:Option’s second DS homebrew release is Snatcher Pilot DS, an adventure game by Konami and an early game of Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid). This game is a demo (hence “Pilot”) and is based upon the PC-Engine “Snatcher Pilot Disk,” but uses the Sega CD version’s assets.
Read the readme.txt for more information.

Do you remember the two farting guys “Terrance & Phillip” from South Park? Now those two guys have their very own computergame on the Atari 2600 platform.
Release notes:
Here’s a binary with the new sprites. I had to change the jumping one a little bit, but I think Raccoon Lad definitely did a good job with these sprites.

If you are looking for a threading solution on the DS a port of DarkPhantom has been made available. The thread dispatcher replaces the standard interrupt dispatcher provided by libnds at the moment so beware of compatibility issues.

seemo has updated his shooting game Omicron 2k.
Release notes:
Hi,
here’s a new version, what’s new
– enemy ‘roots’ are born from blinking ‘eggs’: you can catch those ‘eggs’, to prevent the enemy from growing (and score 8 points )… but you must be quick, or the ‘egg’ will turn into a ‘root’. This introduces a ‘risk/reward’ factor in the game, and adds a little variation to the gameplay
– the ship has been slightly slowed down, to allow for a more ‘precise’ control
– the ‘corners’ of the borders have been removed and the lead music has been slightly reworked
Bye !
Simone
EDIT: forgot to mention, I had to remove the hiscore load/save feature

colloQ is an improved IRC client for the iPhone, based upon mColloquy.
Release notes:
After a hiatus from coding, I recently got back to it and fixed the extended ASCII characters bug! This fix is so important that I decided not to spend time with any more fixes or enhancements and release it right away. It is available on Cydia now, and will be available on Installer very soon.

iBlackjack seems to reach v1.0 soon.
Notes:
Thanks to everyone for testing out the early versions of iBlackjack. Your insightful feedback, encouragement and generosity has helped me create a great game. Since all efforts are now focused on making iBlackjack a great commercial game developed under the official iPhone SDK, we had to deactivate the old unsupported versions.
By now I was hoping to know more about when the final version of the game would be available. We originally planned to get it out ASAP in March, but are at the mercy of Apple and their SDK timelines. Since we wont know details of that until late next week, I will have to provide updated details and a date at a later date.
For the past two months I have spent all my time working on improving iBlackjack. Lots of effort has gone into creating a great new polished game. A game that really reflects well of the iPhone/iPod Touch platform. I think it looks great now and I can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands ASAP. Until then, here is a screenshots of the game as it stands today.

In mid of February there were some more progress news about the ongoing “Ports of Call” remake for Nintendo DS.
Read on:
It’s about time for another update. Although i only make slowly progress there is at least some progress. The bug checks are taking more and more time despite the short cuts i take in testing. But each and every functions and event needs to be tested before i continue on the next one. I still have to test two events that i programmed already and i only need to make two new events to finish the coding for the game framework. After that i will start adding various sound effects throughout the game.
Things well go even more slowly from now on because i will move to a new house and the house needs some major renovations before it’s suitable to live in.
See the Port of Call DS site for the current standing.
