iTGE FPS v1.0 (iPhone Game)

This is a first person shooter in three different environments showing what’s possible using GarageGames’ Torque’s 3D tools for game development. iTGE is built to natively load projects from Torque Game Engine and deploy them to the iPhone.

iTGE supports the full TGE set of features, so you can prototype your iPhone game in TGE on PC or Mac, then optimize it for deployment to the iPhone using iTGE. The levels playable in this game are unoptimized from the PC.

Some notable features include skeletal animation, static & dynamic point lights, shadow volumes, skyboxes, picking, gravity and object & environment collision detection. Wolfenstein 3D (18-04-2009) (NDS Game Port)

Pickle updated Wolf 4 SDL (Wolfenstein 3D SDL Port) an engine port, which can be used to play Wolfenstein 3D.

Because Wolfenstein 3D is showing swastika’s during ingame, we can not provide any links as it would be against german law. In particular it would be against paragraph 86 StGB “Verbreiten von Propagandamitteln verfassungswidriger Organisationen”.

Allthough this is just an engine port of Wolfenstein 3D, the game itself is still indexed.

Release notes:

Features:– Registered Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny builds are available
– Status bar on bottom screen
– (Hopefully) All 320×200 screens should be drawn properly rather than hacked into 256×192
– Basic sound effects, no music or item pickup sounds yet. I wasn’t happy using an opl emulator for those so I’ll use a more suitable format later.
– Saving/loading should be working properly now

Bugs and incomplete things:
– No left handed mode yet
– No automap
– On screen keyboard does not allow capital letters for some reason
– Demos do not play properly

Frodo Comfort v8 (C64 emu for Wii)

Frodo is a Commodore 64 emulator written by Christian Bauer ( http://frodo.cebix.net ). It was ported to the Wii by Simon Kagstrom and does not share any code with FrodoWii.

Put .t64 or .d64 files in /apps/frodo/images on your SD card. The in-game menu allows you to insert disks/tapes, load them and configure the display, joystick ports etc. Saves will be stored on the SD card and the preferences are stored persistently. Wiimote 1 is by default the joystick in port 1 and wiimote 2 the joystick in port 2, but you can swap this.

Holger Eilts has made a version with better menu layout, alternative USB keyboard support, screenshots and the ability to load files within D64s directly. This release tree is known as “Frodo Comfort”. It’s based on Frodo v8 and therefore does not have network support.
