Miner is a mining simulation game. It was originally written in BASIC in 1980 by Ron Longfellow and published in Cursor magazine #19. That version ran on a 40-column Commodore PET. It was later updated for the PC in 1989 by Harrell Stiles, again written in BASIC. This new version is programmed in C, and runs on Windows and the GameBoy Advance. It is somewhat different from the previous versions in various ways. It features two view modes, one saved game slot, top ten scores, and sound effects.http://www.freewebs.com/drussell/
Mediaeval Quest is based on Adventure for the Atari 2600. Released Christmas 1979, Warren Robinette’s Adventure was one of the earliest graphical adventure games (it very likely was the first). Mediaeval Quest is not a direct port; it deviates from Adventure in significant ways, but is also very similar in others. And, like Adventure, it contains a so-called Easter egg, a hidden feature that is revealed after completing an esoteric series of actions in the game. evilo ported NeoPop, a great Neo Geo Pocket (Color) emulator over to the Playstation 2. The port is based on sources of NeoPop v0.71. Unfortunately, due to timing constraints and the line based emulation, the emulator is not running at fullspeed, however games are playable at a correct speed. Also sound emulation is not always perfect and this due to not fullspeed emulation.
Current features :- High compatibility (identical to the original version)- PAL/NTSC auto-detection- Nice GUI (IMHO!)- Host / CD / MC support- HDD support (roms can be loaded from the hdd)- Ingame menu (for options)Current Issues: – Emulation is not fullspeed- Sound Issues- For sure some bugs (first release so be kind!)To-do list: – Improve speed- Zip Support- Flash Support- Save State- Screenshot support (in the rom browser) version 0.10 binary :the zip comes with :- installation script for the Crystal Chip (Sponsors of the project)- two Public Domain roms – romlist.ini file example (for loading from host). Also, be sure to read the included readme. There is new license information from the free software foundation.
