DroidDraw is a graphical user interface (GUI) builder for the Android platform.
Android instrumentations are powerful tools for automating android applications and make a nice fit for automated acceptance testing.
Positron provides an instrumentation and some support classes to help writing acceptance tests. It is provided as a jar that gets bundled with your application.
Right now acceptance tests are written in junit. Support for running scripts from resources is planned…

Box2D is a very easy to use 2D physics library with a growing set of features. Box2D got a lot of attention from the game Crayon Physics that showed the potential of the library. Unfortunately, it is not perfect for the DS, because it uses floating point math, which the DS’s CPUs don’t support. The DS version uses fixed point math.
Release notes:
Here’s a new release of the DS port of Box2D. Robert Kavaler helped me out a lot on this by porting the changes to the SVN version of the (still work-in-progress) Box2D 2.0 and adding a nice build system. Although this is a patch of an unstable version of Box2D it works very stable. By using the DS’s hardware division and sqrt functions I improved simulation speed. Instead of the patches library, the archive now contains a patch with instructions how to acquire and patch Box2D.
What does it do?
You can design scenes freely by drawing things with the stylus. Things can be solid, like ramps and floors, or dynamic, like balls or boxes. Like in The Incredible Machine, you can reset the scene, change it, and start the simulation again. It’s even more fun if you have a DS Motion, which can be used to control gravity!
Release notes:
Here’s a new version with a larger drawing area, dual screen support, updated physics and more!
The top screen displays an overview and the bottom screen shows a zoomed in view.
Here is the final version of PSPSim the SamCoupe Emulator for PSP. SimCoupe emulates a SAM Coupe – an 8-bit, Z80-based home computer released in 1989 by Miles Gordon Technology.
Changes:
– Many optimizations to speed up the emulation in
z80, video and sound emulation part.
Many games are now fullspeed (50 fps) even at 222Mhz !!
– Many new render modes and screen size options
(normal, fit, max etc …)
– The emulator window can now be moved to fit the screen properly
– Add new hotkeys to setup render mode etc …
– Bug fix in the low battery watchdog
– RTrigger/LTrigger keys can be used in the keyboard
settings menu to navigate between Normal, LTrigger
and RTrigger compose mapping.
– Default Hotkeys can now be set in the keyboard mapping menu
(useful to add hotkeys on existing/previous keyboard files)
– Code cleaning

Goomba Color is a GBC emulator written for the GBA. Even though the GBA usually natively plays GBC games, Goomba Color provides the convenience to run multiple games from a flash cartridge, and also runs on the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Micro.
Changes:
* Tilemaps now updated in sync with tile graphics
* Lots of little optimizations and other internal changes
* No longer runs in Multiboot Mode
For all coders out there, the source for the recently released Transport Tycoon Deluxe port is out.
Dear visitors,
First of all, thanks for all the wishes and congrats for the “new” webmaster 😉 The past few days were really an interesting expirience, after all you don’t get father every day 🙂
Also thanks Brakken and Guyfawkes, who even posted about this on their main pages, I and my wife are really happy – and of course our baby too. I will try to get back on everyone, I’ve seen a thread on GP32x.com and probably other pages too… Just allow me some time to respond, it’s hard to catch up and now there are additional important matters than homebrew 🙂
As I have no idea how much spare time will be left from my side, the news might slow down, or I manage the additional work and nothing will change. Time will tell!
Again thanks for all the wishes!
– Kojote & wife & baby 🙂
PS: For those who asked, it’s a baby boy.
