The GBAX coding competition is over and the results are announced! Have a peek at the official page for more information!http://gbax2003.gbaemu.com/
Even the author of IMBnes posted a few lines after 2 months of silence:
All of the key changes for the next version of imbNES are now complete. I’m currently addressing some minor bugs that have crept into the code over the course of that last 6 or 7 months since the 1.2 beta release. The next version will be 1.3 (as opposed to 1.2 final) to avoid confusion and to reflect the major changes the emulator has undergone since last July. Time permitting, imbNES v1.3 will be released within a month.
The aGBe homepage updated with a few news since a long long time:
Hey! Yeah, I know, You’re all probably thinking”Geeze, there hasnt been an update for a long time! This sucks!”(Well, that’s what i’m thinking now anyways). So I’ll let you in on the current news: + Ceddy’s working on the CD loading routines . However, I hear there are some wierd compiling problems that are hindering progress. + I’ve requested a project space on sourceforge.net.. I Really like the CVS part of the site, and I think that It’ll be a good tool for development. Anyone who is interested in coding for aGBe should get a (free) account at sourceforge.net and download WinCVS (or whatever platform you have). I’m still waiting for approval, but i’m sure i’ll go through. Then the source will be available for everyone to work on! (Yay!) + School is killing me right now. 🙁 – gxd
CHN ported the SAP Library over to the GP32 and Dreamcast. Now you are able to play Atari XL/XE music files on those both systems 🙂 Thanks to CHN himself for the news.
Just a small update. I’ve ported the SAP Library v1.54, which is an Atari XL/XE music player, to the Dreamcast and the GP32.
News taken from GP32emu.com:
The second game is Shuttle, its some kind of shoot em up type game.
News taken from GP32emu.com:
Two new homegrown games have been released today. The first is Lamp which is based on the game where you have to light up all the tiles in order to finish the puzzle. Im not sure why the image is distorted until you complete the puzzle, my only guess it that they are planning to add a second part to the game which is where you slide the tiles around to complete the picture?
Erik updated his Scrabble-Game”Wordwise”to version 2. You can get the download at gbadev.orghttp://gbadev.org/
Thor updated his NGPC Slideshow, unfortunatly again without version number, so I take the release date as further information. There are now 2 versions, one for real hardware, the other for emlators.http://www.geocities.com/rtb7/

“Color Demo”is a demo by Peebrain that shows the effects of Color on a GBA:
Whipped up this demo to look at the color capabilities of the GBA in a nice pseudo-GUI environment. It has three”sub”-demos. Use L and R to cycle through the demos. The source is included as well. I tend to write a lot of Qbasic code to do some tedious work, so I put those in there as well. Intended to be run on the hardware, not emu’s (although it works fine in them).
