Gears Of Fate (NGPC Game Source Code)

Thor has released the sources to his game Gears Of Fate.

The goal of “Gears Of Fate” is to reach the red square with the green ball. This is reached by rotating the board, while undo is possible while the board still rotates.

Colored tiles are removed when three of them are regrouped. Grey tiles can not be removed at all. Dark colored tiles are removed once all tiles of the same color have disappeared.

Thanks to Thor himself for the news via e-mail!

ScummVM Wii (Revision 41364) (Wii misc)

ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!!!

Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft’s Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution’s Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep’s Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision’s Gobliiins; Westwood Studios’ The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts’ SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more.

Changes:

– Small virtual keyboard fixes. (! key)
– Updated GUI (search box).
– Linked to updated libfat+libogc. (more caching fixes)

Thanks to http://www.tehskeen.com for the news.

Age of Nations (09-06-2009) (PSP Lua Game)

Age of Nations is a Lua Coded RTS Game, based on Microsoft’s Age of Empires Game.

Release notes:

Hi all,

well there’s been a long time i’ve posted here.I have been, but i’m back for a while, so i can take the time to work on old project.

I spend a long time learning a bit about pathfinding algoritm techniques, specially Dijkstra’s Algoritm and A-Star.After working a whole night long, i’ve been able to add this for units move.

So I share this with the whole community. The main problem will now be able to move many units at the same using the same pathfinding procedure.

I thanks LMelior for A-Star Pathfinding tutorial, and Altaïr for the Algorithm.

Pathfinding – Age of Nations WIP
Lua Coded By Roland Y. (a.k.a. SeanPaul223)
Credits to :Altaïr’s A-Star Algorithm & LMelior Tutorial

What’s This:
This a single demo release for Pathfinding Algorithm.
I’ve developed it for my RTS project Age of Nations.
The main aim of this is guiding a unit on a map.

Basics Commands:
Arrow keys & Joypad: Move Selector
Cross: Set a target for unit move
SQuare+D-Pad: Browse Map
L: Activate Debug Mode
R: Disable Debug Mode

Known bugs:
When you click on a house to order the unit to move, the howmebrew crashes. This should be linked to the way the code is.
Anyway, i’ll try tofix later.

Compatibility:
Works Slim & FAt PSP.
EXtract contents into ms0:/PSP/GAME/
