Dynamo v3.02 (PPC Application)

Dynamo is a cool, animated task manager for your PocketPC 2003/05/06 device. Say goodbye to boring text lists of running programs and instead manage your programs by sliding in images of all your running applications onto your screen. For each program on your device an image is saved and when you click the hotkey they all zoom onto your screen. Simply click the one you want and it will increase to fill the screen. Quickly seeing all the running programs is far more efficient than having to read through a text-based task list so Dynamo can make task switching a much faster, and cooler, experience.

Dynamo also allows you to quit programs from inside the image view meaning that it does everything your old text-based program manager could do.

As well as just looking generally cooler, Dynamo offers far more customization than before and allows the whole application to be controlled using either your PDAs hardware keys or the stylus.

Changes:

+ animation speed can be changed (read and change themes/default.txt file)
– menu bar removed
+ taskbar added (from now on you close Dynamo in the usual way)
+ all snapshots are taken when you launch Dynamo for the first time -> no more black boxes
# you do not have to start the Dynamo when the system starts (from the StartUp folder) – just launch it by pressing a button
# from now on, unpack the contents of the archive into the /Program Files/Dynamo3 folder

You have to remember a way, which is marked with grey or black fields for 5 seconds. After that, you have to control your “block” through the fields the same way.

Home Viewer v1.0 (PSP Application)

An application by roe-ur-boat, view and sort your games and applications on your Playstation Portable.

Release notes:

Here’s another badly-named application I’ve made that I made so I could sort the many games and apps on my PSP. You can freely move your games up and down in the list and there is also an option to sort them all alphabetically.

I hope somebody else finds this useful and if anyone has any suggestions or comments feel free to post below or send an email to my address in the readme.

The RosaryDS (NDS misc)

Say, learn, and practice saying the Rosary on a Nintendo DS! Do you need an easy way to brush-up on your Hail Marys, Our Fathers, Apostles’ Creed, and Glory Be to the Father prayers? Try out The RosaryDS.

The Rosary is made up of twenty “mysteries” (significant events or moments in the life of Jesus and Mary), which, following the Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae, are grouped into four series. The Rosary is made of beads which represent which prayer is to be recited. Normally, the person saying the rosary holds on to the current bead in which they are reciting.

The first of the four mysteries contains joyful mysteries (recited on Mondays and Saturdays); the second, the mysteries of light (Thursdays); the third, the sorrowful mysteries (Tuesdays and Fridays); and the fourth, the glorious mysteries (Wednesdays and Sundays).

“This indication is not intended to limit a rightful freedom in personal and community prayer, where account needs to be taken of spiritual and pastoral needs and of the occurrence of particular liturgical celebrations which might call for suitable adaptations.” (Rosarium Virginis Mariae, 38).
