Epic Adventure v6 (A2600 Game)

Epic Adventure by Byte Knight is an entirely new Adventure game built from the ground-up featuring 32 rooms / mazes with all-new items and enemies (see picture below). It’s kind of a mixture of Adventure and Lord of the Rings. The goal of the game is “the usual” – get the golden chalice back to your home castle. But first, you must kill the Dragon in order for the chalice to appear in one of three places – the Wizard’s Castle, the Dragon’s Castle, or the Troll’s Cave.

Release notes:

New update – now you can play level 1 or level 2. Randomized level 3 to come. Hit the Select button at the start screen to switch levels (I or II at the bottom of the screen), space to start.

Level 1: Items at fixed locations close to the castle. No hawk, no Evil Magician boss.
Level 2: Items at fixed locations throughout the kingdom. Hawk & Evil Magician present.

Also fixed a bug in which after you killed the Evil Magician the Chalice would disappear, making it impossible to finish the game…

Muncher (26-07-2011) (A2600 Game)

Wickeycolumbus is working on a small game, which is currently named “Muncher”. You play as a yellow square and your goal is to “eat” the red squares while avoiding aliens.

There are currently four game modes:

Game 1 – one enemy bouncing off the walls
Game 2 – one “smart” enemy
Game 3 – two enemies bouncing off the walls
Game 4 – one “smart” enemy, one bouncing off the walls

Changes:

Yeah, I was thinking about changing the controls. How’s this? I think it may be a bit too fast.

The demo is Level 1 of the game, with all of the items non randomized and easy to find in or near your home castle. Test it out and let the author know what you think!

Changes:

* upgraded graphics
* new torch lighting effect
* one skeleton key to open all castles
* staff for long-range attacks
* amulet makes you invisible to enemies
* you can make the hawk drop objects by sniping him with the staff (if you’re quick enough)
* the hawk will sometimes pick you up if you don’t have any items, and you can control his x-axis while flying.
* when you’re in the same room as the palintir, you’ll move at half-speed.

Release notes:

I got in the mood to make the game even faster moving, so I don’t know how you feel about the flashing lines (if you get a full row) I had to delete them to make way for the new way the program calculates if there’s a line or not. This new way is IMO faster than the old way, and should make both the two-player and one-player games faster.

Release notes:

I think I fixed that one. I tried cleaning out four lines and it worked. Also, in this version, you can change the colors from black and white to color (and back and forth) during the game, too, not just the title screen. I don’t know why people haven’t commented on my little surprise if you get 100 lines or more in 1 player A-Type. It’s basically the same thing that happens in Tetris for Game Boy: A rocket launches (only mine says “USA” on it, although we don’t launch rockets any more. How sad…) and the same music from the Game Boy version of Tetris plays. If you spot any bugs, as usual, please let me know.
