Abuse has been ported to GP2x by Senor Quack (Dan Silsby).
Abuse is a famous side-scrolling run and gun game originally released for DOS and Linux in 1996. It features beautiful pixel art, lighting effects, many weapons, and is a real challenge even on normal difficulty.

Load and execute this binary at 0x00080000 in RAM. It will force a complete blank of the NAND (even the bad block markers).
Other notes:
There is no way of telling if it has worked or even loaded sadly, so you just have to check PC and see where it has ended up. Leave about 10-20 seconds for it to work before halting and checking the register values.

Here a new version of GP2x-Write the text editor for GP2x.
Changes:
– Add word wrap mode !
– New built in fonts with various size (8×10, 8×14, 8×16 and 16×22)
– New option to specify wrap settings

Metalbrain has updated “GP2xpectrum” an Spectrum emulator for the GP2x.
Changes:
– No +3 reset when loading a .dsk file if we’re already using that model. This makes possible to play multi-disk games.
– Added USB keyboard support.

Sqdef is a tower defense game for the GP2X. The goal is to prevent enemies from getting from one side of the map to the other by placing towers along their way. There are over a dozen different buildings with upgrades, tech research, and a whole lot of maps to try your defense skills on! Sqdef also has a built-in editor that allows you to make your own maps and share them with others.
Changes:
-> new graphics
-> bridges on maps
-> improved balance
-> each building has a specific creature on which it does +50% damage
-> upgradeable Scythe, Trapper, and Colony
-> automatic turret upgrade after every 16 kills
-> two new research items, Ice Pick and Poof

-> Map Editor can load maps
-> a more informative upgrade window
-> smaller, faster save files
-> new map pack “New World”

VICE is a program that runs on a Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 4.x, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X, SkyOS or Mac OS X machine and executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, almost all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
Changes:
this is just a test version to make sure that usb keyboard support works for everyone..
(this also means i’ve added usb keyboard support to minilib 0.c as well)

Map2xis a simple navigation system (or map viewer) for GP2X. Supports Google Maps and Czech server mapy.cz. You can choose different map types (e.g. basic or terain map) and overlays (e.g. land relief).
Touchscreen support for F200 (needs testing on FW > 4.0.0).

This is the final version of colourd the GP2X LCD colour correction daemon. If you have a GP2X F100 MKII or later then you might want to use it to correct the colours of the LCD.
To use it just copy the folder on your SD card, and simply run colourd.gpe once to make it correct colours permanently until the next reboot.
