snes9xTYL v0.3 (SNES emu for PSP)

YoYoFR has released a new version of snes9xTYL which is a Super Nintendo Entertainment emulator for the PSP. Changes:

  • [NEW] mode 7 optimizations when no rotation is used (maps in rpg, …). Does not apply to fzero, mario kart, …
  • [NEW] now 2 versions ! the”me”one is using media engine for sound mixing.
  • [NEW] roms can be deleted from file browser (press SELECT).
  • [NEW] savestates can deleted from menu.
  • [NEW] screen adjustement (pseudo calibration) to get rid of those nasty black borders!
  • [NEW] minor GUI adjustements (easily swap analog/pad, easier navigation with triggers)
  • [NEW] now accept 8bpp and 24bpp logo.bmp background file.
  • [NEW] new logo from pochi.
  • [FIX] some rendering&internal emulation core bugs.
  • [FIX] stability issues&memory card corruption should be gone (at least on my psp).
  • [FIX] debug settings are now correctly saved.

    Atari800 v0.9 (Atari800 emu for GP2x)

    Atari800 is an Atari 800/XL/XE emulator. Changes for the GP2x version:

  • Bumped emulator core to 2.0.1
  • Moved CPU clock speed into external script, seems to differ depending on peoples LCD prefs etc.
  • I included cpu_speed_light, cpu_speed built with dietlibc and an example script
  • Added 16-way input and simple speed control for 5200
  • Added default menus for people who put the config in the wrong place!
  • Now uses proper atari800 config file, so things can go anywhere. I included an example.
  • Still accesses /tmp (booo), but I included the Linux ramdisk module. I recommended mounting /tmp on that.
  • Lots of other things I’ve forgotten
  • Broke my GP32 version again:-( Plan to fix in the next few weeks.

    GnGeo v0.6.8 (NeoGeo emu for GP2x)

    A new version of the NeoGeo emulator GnGeo has been released. Changes:

  • Update the game list that need sram protection hack
  • GP2X: Optimize a little sound mixing routine
  • GP2X: By default, return to selector after exit (use –no-selector to disable it)
  • GP2X: Add sound volume support.
  • GP2X: some optimisation here&there
  • GP2X: Use Hw Accelerated Sdl made by Paeryn for the build.

    MasterPiece 3D (PSP Game)

    BlockZ (PSP Game)

    BlockZ is a Bust-A-Move Clone. You control a vertically bouncing block, which is changing it’s color regularly. You have to prevent the other blocks from reaching the bottom of the screen! You have some time to clear those blocks by touching them with your block, when its got the same colour.     GP2Xpectrum v1.0 (Spectrum emu for GP2x)

    Hermes/PS2R has released a Spectrum emulator for the GP2x. It already comes with a lot of features and runs at 133mhz.

    Supertux v0.1.3 PSP 040206 (PSP Game Port)

    SuperTux is a classic 2D jump’n run sidescroller game in a style similar to the original SuperMario games. This goal of this port is to keep the orignal SuperTux gameplay more or less unchanged, but to tweak the bits that could provide a better gaming experience on the Playstation Portable. Changes:

  • use double screenbuffer
  • extra life bonus only available first time you complete a level
  • die when aborting a level
  • get time bonus when finishing a level
  • fixed gui glitch when walking inside caves
  • no blood splatter when falling off screen
  • speed of rolling snowball decreased
  • speed of bouncing snowball decreased
  • speed of autoscrolling levels decreased
  • some surplus images removed
  • some images was not resized
  • other minor changes
