SuperTux is a jump’n run like game, with strong inspiration from the Super Mario Bros games for Nintendo.

Snaff has released a alpha version of Vice2x. This is a port of VICE to the GP2x. Thanks to GP32x for the news.
This is an alpha/preview release and there is plenty of bugs and things not yet implemented.
VICE2X is ported from the unix version of VICE and uses Rlyeh’s minilib.

Tharos has updated Handy2x, a Atari Lynx emulator for the GP2x. Thanks to GP32x for the news. New in this version:
Although the SDL port of Handy was the reason I started to port it to the GP2x, v0.2 makes no use of SDL anymore.
I moved to Rlyeh’s Minimal Library for rendering and controlls now. I will also use it for sound – but I have to figure out how to do that first 😉
v0.2 is a bit faster thanks to 16bit rendering, and hardwarescaling, but still not fullspeed :/

Franxis released version 1.1 of his Mame port for the GP2x. Changes:
Some optimizations have been done, the emulator is faster now.
Better sound quality: Now i don’t use an specific thread to update the audio and the sound quality is very good now.
Better controls layout: The buttons order is now A,Y,B,X.
A new more compatible executable (it has original slow M68000 C core, it solve the problem with some System 16 games i.e.)
