Frodo Wii (WIP) (C64 emu for Wii)

GPF is about to port Frodo to the Wii.

Quote from GPF:

Been playing around with FrodoWii lately have added some routines to play around with how the emulation is working, right now I have only implemented gamecube controler, press left trigger and it does the simple
10 PRINT”HELLO WORLD”
20 GOTO 10
RUN
which runs forever

and if you press the start button on the controller, it loads a hardcoded .prg file, right now I have been testing Bruce Lee, but for some reason sound isn’t working yet. I did a compile of the source against devkitPPC R14/libogc and was able to run it under an older gc emulator, so I could get this screenshot. But I have also tested it on hardware, kind of cool to be playing Bruce Lee on my TV again.

Hopefully will have time to release a updated test binary and the source code soon.

PSPSeq v3.01 (PSP Application)

PSPSeq is a homebrew audio synthesis and sequencing application for making music on the PSP.

Release notes:

hi – i would like to announce the latest version of PSPSeq; version 3.01. along with various bugfixes on the 3.00 release, this version also has the ability to run on phat and slim PSPs without requiring the 1.50 kernel. however, if you are running without the 1.50 kernel on custom firmware 3.80 or 3.90 you will need to install fatmsmod. this is required as PSPSeq uses flash memory extensively and file saves and loads are unusably slow when using the unpatched kernel. i have tested this on PSP phat using 3.90 M33-3 (both with the 1.50 add-on and without using fatmsmod) and it works identically.

PSPSeq 3.01 can be downloaded here:

http://dspmusic.org/psp/PSPSeq301.zip

details on installation and changes between this version and PSPSeq 3.00 are contained in the readme.txt file within the zip.

Last Mobile Space Battalion (Release 9) (A2600 Game)

Phillip has updated his game “Last Mobile Space Battalion”. It’s a mix of Space Invaders and Yar’s Revenge.

Release notes:

Due to time constraints and major computer problems, I have not yet started on my second game, wallball.
I’ve done some more work on my first game, mainly so I can refamiliarize myself with Batari Basic again.

This version of LMSB includes shields and the UFO firing at its discretion. Sound effects were overhauled.

There’s also a title screen 🙂

I’m hoping to get started on wallball in the next couple of days. Tons of potentional, but it won’t be an easy project.
