Roof Pooper (06-10-2016) (A7800 Game)

frankodragon‘s Roof Pooper is a game where you poop on unsuspecting ‘victims’ but there’s one twist: You cannot poop on cops! If you do, you’ll receive a star. If you poop on three cops, the game’s over. In other words, beware if you have two stars. If you end up pooping on a third cop, you’ll wind up in jail!

Sega Saturn/Dreamcast – Engine

Watch this video on YouTube.

Notes from the author:

Thanks to Johannes who created the libraries in C to access the Sega Saturn hardware and all the community who worked hard to make KallistiOS a good environment for the Dreamcast I was able to create a engine in C where I can make a game for both consoles.

Features of the engine:

– Draw maps and export for Sega Saturn and Dreamcast;
– Draw for the Dreamcast VMU;
– SpriteSheet generator;
– Integration with Notepad++ for coding;
– Integration with Dreamcast/Sega Saturn emulators;
– Compiling and generating the files in windows;
– Tool to export sounds in the correct format for Dreamcast/Sega Saturn.

Denial ’77 (26-09-2016) (A2600 Game)

Yet another project by Wally, just a little bit older than the previous one, is Denial ’77. The game is loosely modelled on Space Zap, an arcade game from 1980.

You’re protecting the base in the centre, move the joystick in the direction you want to fire. The base heats up when you fire, changing colour and expanding. The base firing rate slows as the base heats up. The base also heats up when hit. It’s game over if the base hit when it is overheated. The level number is the only scoring mechanism.
