jlebrech made a 2D Elite like game for the GP32. It is still in beta stage, but you can get a beta version of it from the GP32x Boarsd. Don’t forget to leave feedback.
After months of no update on CastawayGP, Jeff updated it. Finally we have better sound… but the release is still experimental.
If you loved to play Lucas Arts Adventures on your PC and you want to play them on your GP32 as well… you might check out ScummVM very urgently 🙂
Mike Dawson released an updated port of Frodo for the GP32. Frodo itself is a portable C64 emulator written by Christian Bauer. This GP32 port includes sound and graphics rendering code by Groepaz, and uses Sasq’s pogo lib.
A lot of changes. Frodo gettin’ better each release 🙂
Now uses Groepaz’s direct rendering code for a big speedup. Speed limiting to 100% is fixed. With the cpu back at 133 it now does 50fps/zero frameskip (that’s worth the batteries 🙂 Includes FrodoPC.fxe which is slower but has more precise cycle emulation. Some games will work with FrodoPC.fxe that don’t work with Frodo.fxe and vice versa.
My old mate”sack”did a remake of Nibbler. Nibbler was actually written for the GBC and is now avaliable on GP32. Current release from 14th March is the second (The images are 1/2 in size due to bandwith issues).
Will we have a GBA emulator for GP32 soon? Via the link below you can check acouple of screenshots. I’m not sure if it’s fake or not, since a person I know claims to had a beta. Regarding his experience everything seems to be really slow. Oh well… make your own opinion!http://gp32club.consolemul.com/html/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=33
Beta 3 is out. Now with sound!http://dexy.mine.nu/gp32/frodo/
Beta 2 of this”Frodo”port should be more stable. Get the new file from:http://dexy.mine.nu/gp32/frodo/
It was allready announced, but now it’s really out! 🙂 A C64 emu for the GP32. There is no sound yet, but hopefully things will improve a lot in the future 🙂
