madman666 has released a first Alpha of his cardgame Solitaire.
Right now it is just the core of the game. The deck is shuffled and the cards are dealt and all the rules are in place for moving the cards around.

Another exploit is public, but not really usable.
Read on:
Freeplay released his exploit for the game Mercury a few hours ago. The reason is that the vulnerability has been patched in firmware 6.20, making any further work on this exploit useless. Sony also immediately updated the game on the PSN store so that it now requires firmware 6.20.
Matieuhlh, member of the team prometheus (the team who created the Pandora Batteries), and a respected hacker on the PSP scene, revealed that Freeplay actually stole the code from a private SVN. To prove this, Mathieulh released the original sources of the exploit, as well as the sources for a kernel exploit that has been patched in firmware 6.00.
Further development of these exploits will most likely lead to custom firmwares and/or HEN for PSPs up to the firmware 6.00. This is of course interesting only for owners of Ta88v3 and of PSP3000. Owners of PSPGo can still pray for a future XMB exploit, and owners of older models of PSPs can use pandora batteries, independently of their firmware. As usual, if you like homebrews, don’t upgrade. And avoid buying a PSPGo 🙂

This plugin allows you to categorize your games/homebrew. It comes with three modes, a mode which makes a context menu pop up each time you open your Game Menu and lets you choose the category, a mode which displays multiple memory stick icons, one for each category, and finally a complete replacement for the Game menu based on the Photo modules.
Changes:
Fixed a bug introduced in v10 that caused a lot of homebrew to malfunction.

PSPEText is a text reader for PSP game consoles running custom firmwares. This text reader is implemented as a kernel-space module that gets loaded along side your game. Holding the L and R keys for a few seconds will pause the game and bring up the text reader interface. You can read any ASCII text file on the PSP memory stick.

The author of Wagic has been writing a few lines about “Writing and maintaining medium-sized Homebrew projects”.
Wagic is an Heroic Fantasy battle game reproducing the rules of a famous Collectible trading card game. In Wagic, you fight against an AI with your deck of cards. Each time you win, you earn credits to buy more cards in the shop, and improve your deck.
For the developers amongst you but also for the fans of this homebrew, a must read.
